    Abstrak:

    Learning process is drastically changed from teacher-centered paradigm into user-centered paradigm where students are required to actively develop their own knowledge. Online learning is a platform that can generate such condition. But, student’s motivation and engagement become the problem in the process of retrieving learning material and achieving student’s cognitive load through online learning. Nowadays, gamification – using game design element in non-game context – has been rapidly used in education areas. It is promising in creating motivational learning process and student’s engagement. This paper provides an educational gamification framework for instructors to create a fun learning environment while maintaining student’s behavior and emotion through the learning process. This research tends to create a gamification learning environment through 3D Virtual World OpenSim, aimed for students immersion and joyful without leaving behind the cognitive load of the students. The result showed that 79,63% of the student’s from 37 student  participants show an enhancement in positive learning behavior, and 83,41% of the student’s feel fun doing the learning process and the improvement of their study increase by 22,3% and 36,8% from 2 topics tested.
